“Intentionally mislead those who expect honest communication”. The mantra of the TAG Union Bay Improvement District Board of Trustees.
It’s like we’ve taken a step back in time. Let’s face it, Union Bay cannot gather together 5 open and honest individuals to represent the landowners of Union Bay on the Union Bay Improvement District Board. There has never been an honest board and there never will be. Twenty three people showed up for the annual meeting including the spouses of the board. Like previous boards who fear questions and the truth, this board feared having the meeting recorded so the chair set up the opportunity for a trustee’s spouse to put forth the motion to not record the meeting. Something like 15 or 16 voted against the recording and two landowners voted to allow the meeting to be recorded.
I shut off the video camera on the tripod in accordance with the motion. I had my Nikon around my neck in full view and turned it on and recorded the audio of the meeting, smiling at the “cream of the Union Bay hillbilly crop” who were clueless.
This is how a hillbilly board operates. They figure if they vote on something – makes is legal. Why do you think we’re in a financial mess in this community? A history of board after board who vote on whatever strikes their fancy.
Kudos to Linda Cousins and Al Flawse who voted to video record the meeting. See, these people don’t base their vote on whether someone is liked or not, they’re vote is based on democracy. The numbers indicate the intelligence of the community populated by people who are incapable of having an original/independent thought. No sense expecting anything different so now I view them for the comical fools they are and you really can’t help but laugh! I’ve been neglectful the last few months and missed the monthly meetings and I’m sure the hillbilly board must have been thrown off when I showed up on the 12th. They’re getting more nervous as the months pass and there I am still waiting to ask those pesky questions about the conduct and actions of the Hillbilly Union Bay Board.
The Union Bay Improvement District Board of Trustees continuing the tradition of hillbilly ethics, corruption and deception year after year.
Time to join the Regional District.
